The Rubies entertained Brazil in a pulsating 16 goal thriller on the cold windswept astroturf of Aberdeen. Despite 2 goals from our ringers, a fine performance from Big Mac McKeever in goal and great workrate from the Rubies, we could only marvel at the skills and movement of the Brazilian soccer coaches as they scored with ease. A tough game to play in as the Rubies chased and harried yet still managed to create more chances than against Morse Park last weekend. The pick of the Ruby goals was Steve Zirger who flipped up and then volleyed left footed into the far corner in Le Tiss style circa 97. Thanks to Tim for getting the 3 ringers - next weekend against MA Tigers should seem much easier! Cheers Rock
